- 1 tablespoon Shortening; or soft butter
- 6 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons rolled oats; quick cooking
- dash Salt
- 4 teaspoons orange marmalade
Mix together shortening, sugar and salt. Add flour, baking soda, oats and milk. Mix well.
Place 1/2 of mixture in each of two Easy-Bake Oven greased pans. Press down in pan with back of spoon.
Spread 2 teaspoons of orange marmalade on each.
Bake in Easy-Bake Oven pan about 21 minutes.
Cool and then cut into bars.
